Okay I own a 1990 Z24 3.1 but i wanna turbo it, i have been told many times you can not turbo a 3.1 but i see in a post that you can, just wondering if anyone can help me out to find what cars had 3.1 motors in them and were turboed so I can look for one in a junk yeard or in the bargen hunter.

there used to be turbo kits available for the 3.1,i'm not sure if they are still around.but in any case, i've seen custom turbo installs on the 3.1's.if worse comes to worse, do the 3.4 head swap or yank a motor out of a grand prix gtp if u can find one.

Okay thanks, but swaping to a 3.4 head will that give me much more HP? and would you know a price a head would cost?

I heard something about the firbirds with the v6 turbos bolt right on,i dont know for sure but its something to look into
