anyone know what the legal tint limit is these days? i think that it varies depending on what stae u live in (IA) but it used to be 7% in front and 5% in rear. anyone know?

If the shops are anything like the better ones in ontario, just go in and tell them you want it certificated legal.
they give you a piece of paper with the tint job certifying it meets HTA limits, so any cop dont like it can get stuffed.

it varies werre you are. up here in bc canada, you cant have anything ahead of the drivers shoulder. you can paint the back windoes black if you wanted, just cant touch the front
I know here in NS I have tint on my passanger and driver side windows and i got a fine, i went to the cop station and they told me unless its factory tint you can not have any tint on the front 3 windows.
