Ok it was in a 86-90 grand am. it looked just like a H.O but.... it was SOHC. if i had my camera i would have taken pics. but i thougt ask my buddys at the org.

im guessing you mean it looked like a quad 4, but sohc. that motor is a 2.3l quad ohc as its called. it was in the base model grand ams/berettas into the 90s. it was a pretty pathetic motor overall.

If it's an '89 you should check the ecm. It might be the same as the turbo Sunbird part.

why would it be??? may be the same ecm, but wont have the 2.0l turbo prom in it.
The quad ohc is crappy. I have a 94 buick skylark with one in it. They did have the turbo 2.0 in some grand ams during the late 80s.
