Doing some mixing and matching on Cavaliers around here.

Just curious if the intake manifold and injector from an 88 2.0 OHV is the same as a 90 2.2 OHV... ? Looks the same on the outside obviously, I just wasnt sure if the injector size or impedance changed when the motor grew in 90.

Any input is appreciated!

The only issue that I'm aware of is between TBI and MPFI heads. The MPFI head has notches for the injectors to fire at the valves.

It looks like the 87 to 92 engines all used the same injector, rated at 56#/hr fuel delivery @ 10.5 psi
