I found it on eBay and will probably be buying it in a month or so. If someone heard anything about these alternators please post.
hmm whats so great about them? i honestly dont know. But my uncle owns a junk yard and he has a old calais with the 2.3 HO in it. the motor is COMPLETE. How much do parts go for off these motors?
Or do you mean a high output alternator? If so, what evidence is there to prove it is a HO?
looks like a good deal to me. when i got it i'd take it to a auto store and have them test it to see how many amps it can really supply.
well, the pic isnt the one you actualy get. i doubt for they have a 160 amp for the 2.0l. my buddy just picked up a powermaster alternator for his 2.0l turbo. it is 140 amps at cruise rpm, 91 at idle. that was the best alternator we could find.
and boy was it worth it!!!!
