KYB is the way to go. Don't mix the GR2s with the GasAJust shocks. Use all GR2s or none at all. If you own a jack and simple tools, you can do the rear yourself and save $80, but $160 isn't bad for all four. Just remember you'll need an alignment, and if you've never had any suspension work done before (bushings, etc) you might as well have it all done at once.

when you say (bushings, etc) what else needs to get changed.

Control arm bushings, end link bushings, sway bar bushings, upper strut mounts, upper shock mounts, rear axle bushings. None of them need to get changed, but its a good idea to replace them all if you're planning on having it all apart anyways. If you were to replace everything I just listed it would only run you maybe $100 or so in parts. The upper mounts need to be removed when you change the strut/shocks anyways, so you won't pay any extra to have them replaced.

the gas ajust is adjustable stiffness.. i wouldn't bother since you can't get them for the front to match.. stick with the GR2 all around.
Also have a look at your inner tie rod bushings while you have your tie rods out.. they usually get in bad shape also.

The GasAJust operates similar to a progressive rate spring. The more you compress it, the stiffer it gets. If you run the GR2 struts and the GasAJust shocks, you will have some very strange handling problems (if you do anything besides drive in a straight line) since the valving is not matched to the GR2s.

The back shocks and mounts can be changed without jacking the car up.

How do you accomplish that?

LOL I had to jack my car up and my shocks stayed compressed when I pulled em out

yeah you can change the shocks without raising the car, if you can even get under it.
but why not take the 5 minutes to raise it on jackstands and save a lot of headache??
