start my car this morning and the "low coolant" light was on. ok, not a big deal, i know i needed to fill that up soon anyway. what i didnt know is that the leak was coming out of the f'ing heads. drove to work, got done, looked under the car to see if there was a coolant puddle, which was more like a lake. filled the coolant up drove it home, and again, leaking like a "bad car"
now, i was told to go and pick up some "Gunk" thats sposed to seal that up. my question is, just how well is that gonna work? and how soon am i gonna need to replace the damn gasket?
Let me see your heads are leaking now. I suggest getting the gasket replaced immediately as this is a warming. The inside may have a few ticks before the coolant leaks into the cylinders.
once the haed gasket starts leaking it will start deteriorating at that spot and spread. gunk might give you a week or 2 but that may also stop the external leak and start an internal one. replace the gaskets.
yea dude rplace the gaskets. trust me from experence.
