Backseat on coupe or convertible

has anyone taken out the backseat on their coupe or convertible? that is where my sub box is now and i want to tear out the back seat and make a custom enclosure. has anyone done it? is it easy?

ive done it but decided to go a different route where are you from i could sell you my old box for cheap still needs finish work

this is the only pic of it i have uploaded right now




the bottom is easy the back can be tough it is held in my 2 star bolts and then just slide up

maybe 50 bucks where r u from i prefer you pick it up or something shipping on this thing wouldnt be good since it probbaly have to be shipped freight because of its size

Either first gens differ or you got it backwards. On a first gen - the seat back you grab the bottom of the back, pull forward and then lift up... and the seat back "unhooks" at the top and you remove it. The BOTTOM of the seat, at the front edge, kind of up underneath, is held in place by two T47 bolts, teh same ones the seat belts and the brakes use... I reccomend picking up the automotive version of that size torx bit as it has wider blades and is stronger... you unbolt those two bolts and that's it.

I'm not dead and yes I still have my car.. my registry should be updated soon...
