on my gf's car, well be driving and then itll just like rev up on its own but not go anywherre, has this ever happened to anybody and wuts the prob

What car? engine? transmission?
Sounds like either a slipping clutch or low on trans fluid in an automatic

yeah its happening to me right now... I spliced the throttle body sensor wire on accedent... if I drive down the rode and push the clutch it the car revs to 3 grand... I hope that i can just disconect hte battery for about 5 mins and it will reset. and I didnt attatch it together professionaly either (twisted and taped)
you can try dicontecting the battary for about 5 mins and then putting it back and hope it resets the computer...
