Hi, my car is having a random problem that I can't identify.
Sometimes when I start it , It runs like when the fuel filter is dirty,
I press the gas pedal and it doesn't responds well but then it compensates
and accelerates suddenly, also a lot of hesitation( it idles ok).
The problem doesn't comes when I'm in the middle of the run,
if it starts bad is always bad. Now, if I notice that it's not ok, I
just turn it off, and the again start it and then it will run well.
My fuel tank was rusty, and I bought a new one, hoping that
the problem was caused because of dirt on the gas, but
it didn't fixed it.
During the last month I bought a new ECM, new oxygen sensor,
coolant sensor, map sensor, distributor wires, all that because
I had idle problems, it was over 1500 rpm and now it its ok at 900 rpm,
and the diagnosis is ok.
When I take it to the mechanic it always runs well, any Idea ? can the
fuel pump be it? it has something to do with the starting process, because
if it stars good, all the way is good, if it starts bad it doesn't get better
until I restart the car.
I hope I explained myself, I have very limited knowledge about
mechanics and my englisch is very basic , thanks =).

Today I visited the mechanic to pay him for the other work, and while I was
there I was lucky to start my car and it had the problem, he checked, and
there was a Sensor , I think is the MAP, that was not secured to the
chassis and a hose was a bit loose, he just attached it and today it
started after that well, now it's a bit more accelerated, at 1000-1100 rpm
but if the car starts always good that won't bother me, I hope that that
was it, I don't want to get to excited yet.
