Havent't been here in a while but I got a question.

DOES a 5tm40/hm282 out of a '88 or '89 beretta out of a '88 beretta bolt up to a 2.0 for a 87 turbo bird?????
Debating on purchasing this tranny for a back up???

ALSO - does anyone know where I can get the rear hanger/bearing for the half shaft for a 5tm40/hm282. I know I can get the bearings, cv shafts, and all the other parts, BUT I can't find the actual arm/hanger that bolts to the block??

Nope. The only HM282 implementation that will bolt to a 2.0 is the one off a 2.0.

This is because the 2.0 unlike most other GM FWD motors has the starter in the rear near the firewall, instead of up front.
