This is the second 83 Pontiac convertible to appear on the internet in two years! Better buy it while one still exists. 1 of 625 made in 1983. I have yet to find an 83 Chevy Cavalier convertible. 1 of 300 made in 83. In 84, they made plenty of convertibles. 83 is a special year with a different front end for J bodies:

I was never a big fan of the 83s. I guess thats why I have my 84. Many don't like the 6 light front end I have and prefer the GT. I guess thats why there are variations - we all like different things!

Man that thing looks just like my lebaron from the back.. I'd rather have another J but oh well.

Ouuu that's the ORIGINAL front style fascia, the one that really looks like a 70's firebird that I love... The mid 80's SE/LE front was more "eh". As noted they stopped with this front in 84. Man I'd love to have that just to have it but eh... all I use my money for now is gas :-(

I prefer the 83 front end to what came later, the 83 still looked like a 70's Firebird. What came later to me was more boring. I have a 83 Cavalier Conv I just restored but I can't figure out how to post a pic here, wish it was easier.

Hi is this 1983 sunbird still around? Need one for two days of filming... In ontario Guelph, any leads?

I am looking to sell my 1983 J2000. I am working off my phone and will try to post pictures on here at a later time.

I drove the car as a daily driver for the summer when I first bought it, 2009. I blew the engine in it, and have since replaced it with a 2.0 out of (I believe) a 1982 sunbird(?) wagon. It has original red paint- which has faded some- original white converible top. The convertible top worked great, as did 3 of the 4 windows in it. Only one back window had an issue, it went down but didn't always want to go back up. Being a MIchigan car, it sould be noted that there is no rust on the car and is in what I would consider good-great condition, only things wrong with the car would be the paint fading and the one window not always wanting to work. Since replacing the engine it has only been driven maybe 2-3 times to make sure everything worked, and everything did- the car ran great.

I was curious to see what the car would be worth to sell, as since I originally bought it have married and had two kids. The car just isn't practical for my needs anymore. I can't seem to find a blue book value or equivilent on the car, and was wondering if anyone on here had any suggestions as far as what to ask for the car.

Your link is not working! Well honestly I would have to see the car in person to give a accurrate price.Body looks straight in pics,however some interior shots and engine and trunk pic would be solid and what is the mileage on it with the used engine.At this point I might would suggest 1200 but,seeing it would be my best idea.I do not need another car and I am in NC so,too far anyway.Others may vary on what they would shell out.Being the car probably needs some wear out items done,suspension,exhaust,(maybe on exh) fixing window(might be a bad window switch,or motor) and other various things to bring up to par.Car does look pretty good,just being upfront on my opinion.So hopefully this helps but,seeing it would make all the difference.Ok

Sorry... thought I posted mileage in my first posting...

Car had about 65,000 miles on it when the engine went and the new replacement engine had like 60,000 if I remember correctly. My husband would know for sure. I can get interior pictures up tomorrow. Seat covers are not hiding any rips, tears, etc.

Guys chime in on what you individually think stacys car is worth site unseen,but with pics.I stated 1200 but that is unseen and anything it might need on this 29 yr old is valued at.
