Welcome & nice clean ragtop you have!
There used to be another F41 'vert owner that posted up from time to time...but I haven't seen him in a while. Good luck with your resto and post up whenever you have questions or feel like sharing something. Keep those first gens running!
im still researchin the f-41 part i know its next to impossible to find parts for her here
but she runs well now. hopefully stays that way
F41 was an RPO code for a suspension & handling package that they offered on many GM cars. YOu may have already noticed that. I don't think there was anything different other than the steering rack turning ratio, wider rim & tire package and stiffer springs & shocks and roll bar.
Someone else might know more.
yeh what i thought lol but have been told that the f-41 vert is rare.guess previous owner didnt know that lol there was only 3000 some verts built in 84 wonder how many of them had the f-41 package tho .i cant seem to find out ..and ive been looking.
oh yeh she rides like a new one could be fun looking for suspension parts tho.so pray i never have to
just discovered the f-41 had to be special ordered in 84 same as it was with the camaro back then. i wonder if it is possible to find out how many came out with the f-41 package that year.

Contact the GM heritage Center they might be able to help you, don't have the number off hand though.
omg what a pos jk lol wow he rerally did hit the barn hard eh ivan glad he didn't hurt it though good to see you finally post some pics on here
ivan just as a heads up. any suspension part up to 94 will interchange (springs shocks maybe struts)
watch for flying sparks!!!
F-41 parts (Sway bars, springs, steering racks) should be the same as later model 85-87 RS and Z24 suspension pieces. The F41 suspension was standard on those models.
*Struts & strut mounts changed over the years, I think in 87 and again in 1992 (I believe) and the mounting points are different.
wow i was really bored tonight and decided to come here been VERY LONG while i used to have a brown 84 f-41 convertible, i still have my 84 firenza...kind of funny i have owned 3 first gens and a 2gen..but my dad drives the firenza nowand i have moved on to other projects.
