will a brain box from a NA 2.0 5spd work in 2.0 turbo 5spd?, and or will a brain box from a an 2.0 turbo auto work in a 2.0 turbo 5 spd?, or is there no difference in any of this?

no and no. na 5spd will not have boost provisions
and the auto iirc will not work correctly, will throw a code for some things if i remember right.

the auto turbo ecm should work alright. the worth thing that may happen is it may throw a code for the tcc solonoid, and this would set the check engine light. if it does, you could find someone that can burn chips and have them burn a 2.0l turbo 5 speed chip for you.

the 2.0l 5 speed non turbo is a completly different ecm altogether.

Both of these guys are right.

The NA and turbo ecm's do not plug n play swap. The ecm from turbo can be used on a TBI vehicle with correct MAP sensor, provided you burn a custom chip.

The turbo 5 spd and turbo auto use the same ecm but different chips. There are differences in idle strategy and often in the tune. Some people don't think it's noticeable.
