Hello

Can anyone tell me what years of Cavalier had a Throttle Body Fuel Injection system? I have 3 TBI units. One has a much larger bore. I got them from older Cavaliers, I think the 80's but I neglected to write down the VIN numbers of each car when I took them off. I have finished a Megasquirt computer and am looking to adapt a TBI in place of a Carb.

4 cylinder Cavs came with TBI from 1983 until 1991, when GM switched to PFI. The large bore unit is a Rochester model 500, found on iron head Chevy Cav engines until about 86. The same unit was also found on 2.5L engines in early Chevy S10 and Citation and Pontiac Phoenix to name a few. The smaller units are a model 700 TBI which was used in about 87 up on the Cav.
