Hey all,

Well I'm finding out that it seems to suck if you have an '85 you're trying to upgrade. I've seen engine parts that all specify '86/'87 or newer for the 2.0... So am I pretty much SOL with an '85?? One thing I was browsing for was a header, I found there are ones for other applications that will fit - BUT only '86/'87 or newer. ging head against the wall*. Any ideas? Any sources for engine goodies that will WORK on an '85? I found the Mantaparts website and there seems to be a bunch of cool suspension stuff - but engine parts are "'86 or newer".

Also, does anyone make a rebuild kit for this engine? Mine is still running pretty good, but I figured I'd look into it. I'll probably do a motor swap one day as I start building her up more and more.

The best option that I have seen is to swap the engine for a 2.8L or 3.1L. I have an 86 with a 2.0L nothing to get excited about but it runs good.
