speakers in dashboard

I'm just curious as to how hard it is to replace the speakers in the dashboard. I have gathered that they are 3.5" but dunno about putting them in. Do you only have to take off the grill and then you have access? How about getting the screws out? On the passenger side things are pretty cramped!

Right now I have stock speakers in it which my stereo quickly blew. Infinity 6x9's in the back.

Thanks, Dayton

take a thing screw driver and pop the covers off, then you will need a metric socket set...the screws schouldne be too tight its only plastic just try to screw then out by hand, if not get a small ratchet and take them out, then just pull the speaker up and disconnect the wires, the end

Get a 1/4 drive ratchet set to take up less room.

I used an offset (z shaped) screw driver. It was a piece of cake.

installing new speaker wiring was pretty easy in the front ,compared to the rear.U just have to route it down towards ur head unit and did remove a panel or two so I could see where I wanted it to go.The rear was timely due to I routed it back thru the exact channels all the way and there are two plastic holders that hold some electrical wiring which the original wires went so, I did it just so to b perfect .Took me a couple of hours cause I did have to remove the back seat and remove the plastic trim along the door in order to get at the channels I described.Have fun I did.
