Yep I finally had bad enough luck to have a rock fly off some guys big rig and crack my windshield. So anyone know what the average cost of a new windshield is going to run me? I can feel my wallet getting lighter already

i have glass as part of my comprehensive insurance, so cost me $200 canadian. however, i saw the actual cost, and it was around $450

$250-300 for my Cobra's windshield installed. Never touched the Cav's

For my '89 sedan I got a $250 estimate. I @!#$ hate being stuck behind big rigs because something usually flies off their tires and either punctures a hole in the radiator or cracks your windshield or front lights.

ok Thanks guys I was wanting to make sure I was getting ripped off going somewhere to get one, I know my bro payed 250 for a windshield for his chevelle but I know it's alot easier to get ahold of one of those than it is one for a first gen cavvy
