Well since everyone is talking about Hatcbacks recently and I've always loved the look of them but dont know to much about them. I saw a red one a while ago and everytime I go by its always sitting there so I might go make the guy an offer when money comes around soon.
I have a few hatch Q's what years were hatches made? when did they start/stop making them. I'd really like to get one with the first gen sunbird flip up lights on it but I've never seen one anywere (not even online) but I havent looked yet either. If not I'll just swap the front end onto one, lol easy as that
just curious if they were ever made.
The one sitting not to far from my house is a red cavy, looks a little rough but nothing major.
hatchbacks were made in the full line up of first gens.
did they make a sunbird hatch? I've never seen one (not that that means anything just wondering) it probably wouldn't be too much of a stretch to put a sunbird front end on a hatch cavy.

they made sunbird hatchbacks. there is a sunbird 2.0l turbo 5 speed hatch GT running around my town. it has the flip up head lights. im not sure how rare they are.
you woul;d be able to bolt a sunbird front right onto a cavy, but there is the issue of finding a front end in the junkyard to bolt onto it.
lol, yea thats what i plan on trying to do, the olds look just like the cavys ulgy front and rear ends.

I personally love the look of my front end I think it look way better than the rounded look of the newer Firenzas. Here is a pic of mine,
1982 Olds Firenza S-1.8L auto, not fast but fun it is.
I know they make hatch sunbirds, I've seen one with the firebird looking front end, but never a hatch with flip ups, anyone have any pics of one?
Also, did they ever make that front end on a body style like sharkeys car, I love taht style to but again, never seen it with sunbird flip ups.
I love that front end its my favorite of all the J front ends and I hate how hard it is to find parts for, I hope I never get into a wreck, lol fender flares are just as hard to find it took me forever to track down a set of those.
