My 84 went on its first date in about 25 years. My daughter has been using the car as her daily while I work on her firebird.
Kinda bittersweet...
Sounds much more exciting than wasting away in a barn or rusting away in an open field by some owner that aways says "I'm gonna fix that up one day".
This way your J is getting used and that'll keep it in running condition!! You know she will always remember that 1st date and the car she was in - and her wonderful Dad that was there for her :-)
Your journey has more twist and turns than a good ole country road my friend!!
.
I am just blown away by the condition of your Sunbird Paul! You have really taken great care of this Gem. You deserve a lot of credit for the work and effort your put into this over the years - couldn't possibly be very many like this left in this condition. These cars are really starting to turn heads nowadays - they aren't the traditional muscle cars you see cruising the streets on and pretty Weekend afternoon. They also stand out amongst the hordes of SUVs and SuperSized Pickup Trucks littering the roadways today....LoL
Remember this day about 4 years ago???
.
Wow - four years seems like yesterday...
