Had the drop top out for a long run awhile back. Started knocking, bottom end of engine. any ideas on cost to rebuild engine.
Take the belt off the AC compressor? It happened to me and it was just the a/c thank god. good luck man. put a 3100 in if you spun anything.
I would do a visual check of the belt tensioner and at idle use a long screw driver and place on the oil pan and put your ear to it and listen.I cannot estimate a full rebuild but ball park would be at least 700 to 1000 if you do the work and just in frame it.Wish I could better answer this,but never rebuilt mine just the general things.
