I want a 86
On the inside my car looks like a fighter jet.
I like the nose on those early ones. It reminds me of the monza from the 70s era.
Wonder if you could buy the whole thing for parts and then take it elsewhere to title it? Would hate to see that get scrapped
Nice car - what a waste...
When I got My 86 sedan, I had to ask the first owner. she was so nice and went the DMV. got a N9 sheet filled it out, took 2 minutes, then two days later got a title in the mail. annnd it was the day after hurricane sandy ha,ha. Halloween?
But my wife looked at me like I am crazy. I got the Cavalier bug now. shes like "that little thing, first the B wagons then G bodys. we got no money"... lol. ill find a way.
Really sucks to see something like that go.
Since there's no title, and that's the reason for parts or crusher, why not offer to do the work to get the title; that might sway him?
Got an email from the seller and he said "has been altered and can't be changed" not sure if he meant the car or title. I'm guessing Pennsylvania has some strict titling laws
.
If the top color was just a little bit lighter it would almost match my two tone Monte Carlo.
Somebody like Vic could save it and use it for drag racing.
In Missouri you can get a title if your an auto shop or if its abandoned.
Just say you need most of the body panels and you'll just take the whole thing home....
Like you needed doors and panels.....so he thinks you are using it for another car....
Then turn around and get a title for it!

That's what I'd do if it was closer.
some yards in PA will cut the car in half when selling it as parts lol.

Stopping by there tomorrow to grab a few parts that are failing on mine.

I begged and pleaded to get him to sell it to me but they would not budge. Shame. Thing was SPOTLESS!!! Looked like someones grandmother had it in a garage, the interior looked brand new!!!!! BUT it had to be done.
As i left it....

Better to have some parts saved than to have the entire car crushed and sent to China!
The guy said if he can figure out a way to sell it to me he will call me. He knows the local junkyard 4 miles from me and i know the guy that runs it well, he has my cell number. Even if its to just cut the body off to use it for another racecar. I took the hatch too, it was just sitting there when i took the pic.
