ok i cant get the link up sry
yup thats the one, thanks
looks pretty good. i really like those seats. decent price. only thing is i dont think the z24 option was offered on the 86 vert. maybe thats why he says" custom"
John I think they just cut the top off of a Z24 notchback coupe as it says in the ad 'There is no top for it.'. If that's what they did I hope they added more structural bracing. It doesn't look like the ASC made cavalier convertibles.
I'm no "Vert expert ......but something doesn't look right at all at the door here. Those White Door Handles don't look stock either.
.
spike, your right , look at the back seat, thats no convertable, armrest are wrong, no space for top mechanicals. you have a good eye. i missed it at first glance
I missed it at first too and If it does not have any structural support it will eventually fold up.
IMO, it's a shame to have done this to a survivor with so few miles. I'm sure this car would have been a prized posession by many on here...
Wow, with no rocker supports like the convertibles recieved, this thing would be a 'flexy flier'. Eventually it will either twist itself up or collapse in half. As the others have said, what a shame since it looks like it was a really clean Z24.
I'm surprised that it won car shows. Shows how oblivious the judges were.
Can't drive yet but looking for a solid car! 80s J's seem to be my favorite.
That cars been for sale for years. Search v6z24.com. They cut the top off and the price is rather outrageous or cheap. It's always the same pictures and sometimes it says professionally done but on v6z24.com a bunch of people say it was a backyard job. There is no top/ roof for it.
On the inside my car looks like a fighter jet.
You can tell it's fake by the rear seats--too wide for a vert; and that would explain why there's no top for it--even a replacement top wouldn't fit.
....and how do you wash the silly thing??? That's gotta be rather interesting!
.
Fill up the seats, everybody gets an umbrella...
That was a pretty good one Wayne. Gave me a hearty Laugh at work today when I read it!!
