Came accross these. Thought you guys might be interested.
I still have a few BIG boxes of dad's old magazines to go through so there may be more, but I laughed every time I came accross one. There's another one I didn't take a picture of of a first gen at a car show showing off GM's supercharged 2.2.
It'd be sweet if anyone had any other stuff to take a picture of or scan in.
I have a double size mini poster of a red '84 Firenza GT hatch (when GT was still a 4 cyl trim and wheel package) - it's a great shot but have not figured out how to scan a poster yet. The poster was in the 'miscellaneous' bin of my local Olds dealership brochure stand.
(Quoting a past member)-"Never underestimate a First Gen"
1. Hang up the poster on a clean wall
2. Take good digital camera (at least 5.0 megs, 10.0+ preferable) and use a tripod to steady camera.
3. frame entire poster in shot and take picture
4. upload picture
No tripod- i'll try and set a table up- thanks Wayne.

If that was wall hung and pictured would be nice.I would like to take that statement and make it larger for a cool idea I have so I can save it and make something wickedly bad a--!

You mean like a garage door cover?
Here comes the solver of problems non-car related:
1. download picture after Jon uploads picture
2. Take it to a vinyl sign maker, they'll get the job done.
Here's one in my area:

Not quite what I was leaning towards on my idea but def cool.I will ponder some more and see what I can create with that and hopefully can get the idea done for a good price.I am keeping it top secret for now.Funny right
