I was running into problems sourcing heater hoses for my 84. The is a manual and came equipped with AC. Looking online and at O'Rielly, Autozone, and Advance, the pictures show a single angled hose. Mine look like more of a "Z" shape. I took one off and took it in and matched it to something they had on the shelf at Advance with a part # of 303630. They look like an exact match for what is on my car now. They said they are different sizes on each side - can you guys confirm this?

My car had an engine rebuild in 90. It looks like they took two of these molded hose and chopped the top off of one to use on the "elbow" that comes off the water pump.

Anyways, they are $10 each, but cheap insurance as far as I am concerned while I have the head off.

Paul, I must have got your hose when I ordered a replacement for the Cav (2.0 Manual trans). The one I got looked like the Z shape and I had to cut it almost in half to make it fit.

Sounds like you needed what was shown in the picture for mine. Were yours the same on each side?

They were the same shape. I needed an L shape. As far as the diameter, I don't remember if they were the same at each end. I did mine in the summer of 2011 when I swapped the motor.
