As badass as that is, I'd rather see one modified without being turned into a RWD dragster.

Orlen I DO believe I saw that car last wk when I was coming back from fredricksburg va on a trailer on I95 close to richmond.White ford truck not sure if a 150 or 250 but a pretty sure it was said pic like above.I am trying to recall but anyway I was like whoa that is pretty sweet for a first gen.It might have been I85 but so much going on I just cannot pin down.Either way a black guy was drving the pick up.Maybe same peeps with same car just showing it around?Nice pics kind of hard to forget a purple drag bird.

That's an 82 front end on it. 87 would have the flip up headlights I believe. That front beak is 82 specific if my memory serves me correctly. Nice car though.

I find it interesting that the 82 specific front beak has the same side profile of the Skyhawk header panel.

Wow haha, I feel bad for not looking at this thread sooner.
I`m really happy how well purple + what looks like a 4inch cowl, looks !
In my opinion they shouldn`t of used those hoodpins to make it a removable hood though... doesn`t look the best haha.
Great looking car though!

Nice car. It's been awhile since I've last seen a J-body hatchback. I didn't know you could get a Sunbird in that configuration.
