Ok so a fourm friend near me has the motor dropped in and when he tried to start it it will only crank over no start, So he inlisted my help to figure out the wiring as to why its not starting well we know its not getting spark and fuel it had a distributer keep in mind so hes using the harness and ecm from a 90 cavalier with a tuned chip from superdave, ive check my 3 spare harness's as to why its not starting and still have to figure it out all is connected grounded and everything does anyone have the Drivers side bulk head pinout for a 85 cavalier i have like 10 wiring diagrams but anything new will help. Don't think this will help but I have the Diagrams for 84 Cavalier 2.0 and 86 Cimarron 2.8.

Ok, What I have is the factory wiring diagrams from the factory service manuals (84 Cav 2.0 and 85 Cimarron 2.0 and 2.8). I can take them to work and scan them on a wide format scanner full size as these are fold out sections. Let me know if this is what you need and I will email them directly to you.

Thanks for pursuing this Alex (cav93). It seems simple, match the correct wires by the fuse block of the 85 to the correct wires on the 90 harness that comes through firewall by the fuse block, but it has been a tough diagram to find. My poor vert is just sitting during the best summer weather we have had in 25 years
Hey John, if you could send me the 1985 2.8 diagrams too that would be great. I am also looking for 1990 2.8 (3.1) diagrams so I can match them up, since I am using a 1990 harness under the hood. Thanks

Got them scanned and emailed today. If you can't read them I also made copies onto bond paper and can snail mail them to you guys if you think they will help.
