Anyone know the answer or know where I can find the answer?
Thank you!
Cody.... depends on which ratios you're looking for..... transmission or final drive (sun gears or sprocket drive gears)
Need type of engine and wether it's an a/c equipped vehicle.
Alan
I may have answered my own question with some internet digging.
LA5 engine, M19 transmission, A/C equipped, trans and final. Are these right?
AXLE - 4.10
1st - 3.53
2nd - 1.95
3rd - 1.24
4th - 0.81
Reverse - 3.42
Alan - Are you the guy that posted these production numbers? -

Thank you for your help!
Yes Sir... that's me :>
Info you have is from the Pontiac-other GM transmissions. If you indeed have the 4.10's and you build the turbo engine, be prepared to be a "really" fast shifter. With that final drive, you'll be on boost 80% of the time, with a stock turbo setup. Fuel mileage, don't even waste the time to figure it out :>O !
I have the 4.10's in mine, but the turbo A/R ratios have been changed so the boost comes in at a different rpm range.
Hope this helps...... Alan
Alan-
I think mine is pretty much the same as Cody's setup. At least it was when it was bone stock
Paul, how are the boost figures while driving around & on the highway ? When you "exercise" your right foot, how quickly do you max out on psi in each gear, and have to shift?
Thanks for any input you may have in the real world for a combo like this, as mine is a bit more aggressive.
Alans gotta go racing now, catch ya later.............. man it's HOT !
Thanks for all your help!
Alan: I have a ton of questions regarding those production numbers you have for the 87's. On the hunt for another Hawk. Would you mind messaging me some contact info? Or should I just ask on here?
Thanks again!
