Nice Pics.
As far as mods go, you can get some nice gains with a cat-back and an air-box mod. If you want something significant, I would consider a 3400 swap as opposed to building the 2.8.
Do a 3400 or 3500 swap/ If you do a 3400, you can put a 3500 top end on and a bigger TB. WOT-Tech.com makes some amazing parts for these engines. You can make some crazy power cheap. Also, they sound amazing with straight pipes. As far as chips go, SuperDave on V6z24 makes some crazy chips. They only really make a difference with power adders or engine swaps. A 3400 engine is almost a direct swap in these cars. There is a tutorial on v6z24 under the how-to and tells you step by step. Here is my video of my car and how sounds after I did the swap. You can also do rear disk brake swap from a neon and front brake upgrades 12in Bonneville/ sts, or new 15in camaro/cts-v if you feel brave.

On the inside my car looks like a fighter jet.
Car Looks Awesome. Paint looks like it is flawless.
Figured I'd add a pic of the car to the thread.

Hmmm, can't help but wonder if someone else likes blue as much as I do!! LOL
You got 2 beautiful J's !!
Those photos bear out a WHOLE lotta of work!! I saw where it had been popped on the drivers front in the photo being towed. It that when you first got it?
All I can say is when you get a J , you mean business!!
.
Thanks for adding the pic - for whatever reason I couldn't get it in there. The car was smashed in the front, we are in Wisconsin and found it on craigslist in Texas. Had it shipped here in March, my husband is a body tech & ripped it apart, down to bare metal and had it painted the original blue color. I had a blue 87 Z24 5 speed back in high school and loved that car....I guess he did too since he searched and found another one for me. This one is an automatic though. I had some pics of when it was stripped down to bare metal too & then painted in the booth. I'm very happy with how the outside turned out. Just have to figure out what to do with the rims & then get started on the motor & interior.
