Ok...the price will knock your socks off....and it's a Turbo hooked up to an automatic. But MAN....beautiful T-TYPE Turbo Buick - its worth stopping to look over!! :-)
I think this is near Paul's neck in the woods!! Hey....can't blame a man for daydreaming, would you? But wouldn't this look so nice sitting beside Paul's 84 Sunbird!! .....kinda reminds me of John's 2 Convertibles.........sighs!!

nice looking car
gilligan
If it were only a stick....................and man that price is Turbo Crazy!
If the underside is as nice as the rest I wouldn't blink an eye about paying $5,000. My cousin would love that as he had a turbo Skyhawk when he was in high school.
Wow - that is nice. 130 miles from me. It would sell in a minute for $5k. Almost $7k is high. What was it new? $9K?
That is nice and tight and condition awesome! I need to save money for 1 ride mine.Unless I win the lottery then $ no problem on several acquisitions.

I was in the new car market during 86-87. A max all optioned Skyhawk turbo t type hatch ran about $14K at the time. The two door probably ran just a few of hundred less.
Mildlly optioned 2 doors and hatches, the type of car that would stock the new car lot, typically stickered high 9s or very low 10s. This 2 door turbo w/ auto was probably around high 11s to low 13s. Sunroofs, AC, turbo and auto trans were the big ticket items.
That car seems nice. Cleaned up well. Fair amount of grime on the shock towers gives a clue as to what the car would look like were it not for a loving owner.

I guess I was thinking 1984 Pontiac prices. I seem to remember Sunbirds running for about $8k with convertibles coming in around $13k. Buicks were a little up market
Chevy was even cheaper..... I had an 86 Cav 4dr (My 1st NEW company car) A/T with A/C and it stickered about 9,xxx.00 . I still have the sticker around somewhere. Put 4 adults in it and you needed to turn off the A/C to get onto the freeway quickly.

Same thing with my '89 Cavy
. The A/C wasn't worth a @!#$ anyways either as I had mine recharged and it barely cooled me off. The heat worked so darn good though it cracked the windshield on the coldest day I drove it
. I'm thinking about getting a new Vintage Air unit myself.
