Times just get harder and money just gets harder to come by. So here is a Lil tip to save a lil change.

Next time you are at the local salvage yard. Try to remember to grab some of those 1156/1157 bulbs just waiting to be used again!! You can get the side marker bulbs, headlights,fuzes,dome light bulb. Those bulbs are getting harder to find these days, and just get more expensive everytime I check at the store. Also I noticed those cheap Chinese bulbs seem to blow out faster than the good ole "Made in USA" bulbs ever did.

But while your at it, snip the bulb plug while you are at it, you can take it home and make a handy tester that you can hook up to your battery on those days you just looking for something to do around the shop. Test all the free bulbs you got and the next time one blows you got a freebie to pop back ina go on your way!! :-)

Nice tester! I have tons of these bulbs, and keep getting more. I like torqx head screws too.
