Nice Cruise night last night in St. Clair Shores. Saw a few first gen convertibles, a White Z24, a Red Cavalier, and a Copper Sunbird.

I just had mine parked.

Well that is pretty cool.I was all loco today when I saw a very nice 87 cav coupe black/black interior.Automatic,ps, etc.Anyway the guy who owned it bought it brand NEW! Talked to him for 5 being he was going,likewise.Anyhow he also owns a 85 or 86 cav vert bought NEW! I told him about the site and please join and share the photos and explained my interest owning mine,and I did not get his name but a real old guy (retired maybe).I sure hope he checks the site bc this cav was just unreal,a touch dirty inside but freaking sweet.He lives here in my town.I have never seen this car.Just to cool for me to see,hope he shares here he had no idea of the website.

Up here in Massachusetts I never see 1st gens. I do go to car show/cruise nights a couple of times a year and never see them (but I always bring my 84 caddy Convert to the shows). I can't even find em (1st gens) in the local junk yards. If it weren't for this forum I would think that I'm the only J nut in the country. Hey does anyone know how to remove the engine wiring harness from the front passenger side firewall? From the inside under the dash? I got the drivers side off by removing the screw from the outside. This is on the cav sedan that I pulled the motor out of, and at the time my main concern was getting the motor out. I labeled all the connectors and I'm going to save it for who knows what. I'm going up there tomorrow (to Nashua NH where I store the sedan) to remove the hood prop, and take some more pictures of the seats that are too good to just let rot.
