Got home a liitle while ago from a 240 mile round trip to pick up my new 1987 pontiac sunbird GT convertible. I live in the ft. lauderdale area, and I traveled across the state to pick up the bird and have it hauled home. So far I am pleased with what I see in the car physically. It is very clean overall. Has been owned by the same family since new and has been garaged. Most everything on the car is original, including the paint, which is also in, OK condition. This does not appaer to be a turbo car. I looked closely unfder the hood, and I don't think I saw any indication of a turbo? I have never owned a turbo car, so I am not even sure what to look for to determine if it has a turbo in it? Any help to figure this out would be appreciated. Now off to my mechanic to see what it will need to get it running. For the $700.00 I bought the car for, I am not to worried about dumping some $$ into it. Will post some pics soon. Rob.
