FS: 03+ Cavalier Front Bumper and Rear Seat

Both items are pick up only, or I can meet up with you within a 30 minute drive.

Front bumper of my '04 base model, fits years 03-05. Was taken off of car around 35,000 miles, has been safely stored indoors since then. Original black paint. Center grill section has a few small cracks from when a possum decided it would be a good idea to cross the road in front of me. Other than that the bumper is in great condition. $50 OBO.

40/60 Split Rear seat is also from the '04, also taken out around 35,000 miles, stored indoors and wrapped in plastic. I believe this fits all Cavys and Fires from 95-05, but not 100% positive. Bottom bench has a small burn mark (about 1/4" in diameter) that I have no clue how it got there (car was never ever smoked in). Price...shoot me any reasonable offer, I just want this out of my basement!

joker - i took out the rear seat to replace with a fiberglass rear seat delete. I'm in process of making another amp rack to replace the seat bench, hopefully this one will stick. the last two i kinda changed my mind halfway through of what direction i wanted to go. one of these days i may get around to posting a thread with some progress pics.

qwibby - that would actually work out great, we'll be at my parents house on christmas which is about 5 minutes from Oley. maybe we can meet up at the Kings/Weis or something.

sweet man , id like to see that thing when its done , i think im gonna stick subs in the car after havin the Escort hooked up i miss the sound. i found that the Dupli-color spay on truck bed liner (spray can) dose really good as a sound deadner for the trunk , plus a lil dyno matt and itll sound great

Yeah funny you mention that, I actually had some rubberized undercoating laying around from when I did my dad's truck, so I mixed up the rest of that and coated my trunk with it..pretty happy with the results, I just want to add a little dynomat or fatmat then call it a day.
I definitely couldn't drive my car without subs, lol. Ever since I've had them, car audio just doesn't sound the same with out. I've been running all Sony Xplod and couldnt be happier. I know a lot of people think they are trash, but I've been getting the mid level ones and love them. Right now I have my 2 - 12"s mounted to a sheet of mdf and bolted and epoxyed it into the chassis where the back of the seat used to clip into, basically using the whole trunk as a box...had my doubts at first but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I think im going to keep it that way, and just make a fiberglass cover for the front for cosmetic purposes.
I don't have a pic of the current amp rack, so here is the previous one I started (they are pretty much identical concepts, the angles are just slightly different:

I actually would like to sell the started one, I can finish it and even paint if wanted, so if you know anyone who might be interested, send them my way. I'm off work for about a week and a half for the holidays, if you have some free time maybe we can meet up sometime and check out the cavys...i still gotta see those skirts we traded on yours.

QWIBBY - you have a PM sir

hmmm...is it an adhesive matting like dynomat?? I'm familiar with the spray-on ceremic compound from Lizard Skins, didn't even know they made a matting. But yeah, that would be awesome if you could hook me up with some of that. Thanks man

yeah maybe one day this week I'll find the ambition to dump some pics from my camera onto the computer and post up a progress thread on the seat delete. I'll bring along the amp rack when we meet up too so you can check it out.
