Just thought I'd toss it out there. If you look at the time I posted, it was too late to make a call anyway. I know there are other days with other hours, but I thought I would toss it out there since I know there are people on here from York. Kind of like how if someone asked Lancaster people if Freeze & Frizz was open, I'd know. It's one of those things people in the area tend to know about.

WTF is Freeze & Frizz?

It's a place that has ice cream, milkshakes, burgers, dogs... it's a summer novelty around here! It's only open in the summer like Jim Macks. There's also a Frizz & Freeze

Well, I'm around "here" and I've never heard of it.

hahaha I did a search for it and found this, look at question #17 It's a family tradition around here, everyone I know is familiar with this summer treat! Though not nearly as cool as Jim Macks and their pathetic animals that you can feed after a round of mini golf

Freeze & Frizz used to be by the airport on 501, but it had to move this year and is now in "downtown" Lititz across from Wilbur, not sure if that one is up and running yet. Frizz & Freeze is on 23, if you're going from Rt. 30 towards Leola, before Snake Hill Rd. on the right. I also found when I was researching that the place with the farmer boy & pig statue on 896 towards Strasburg is also a Freeze & Frizz, learned something new!

I went to the one by the airport pretty often as a kid to get milkshakes for the whole family! It was fun last year to stop by for a burger & fries with the dogs, it's the kind of place where you go to eat outside on a picnic table

And for another special summer treat in the area, check out the Jigger Shop in Mt. Gretna right on 117. That's a heck of a tasty treat I tell ya! It's not open yet though, which is nice to see on their website.

But yeah, if anyone knows if Jim Macks is open, chime in
