Question about front end swap
Friday, February 29, 2008 11:05 AM
This is directed to anyone who has swapped from a 95-02 Sunfire to an 03-05 cavalier. Do your headlights keep blowing out? Everytime I replace a bulp within weeks, Its out again and it switches back and forth between both lights, this never happened when it was just a sunfire.

there shouldnt be any wiring involved. both use 9007 bulbs so its plug and play

did you happen to do ANYTHING with the stock wiring when doing the swap?

what else could it be, whether there is a shorted wire, corrosion, bad connection...the wiring is wrong/bad

Thats what it sounds like to me, like its grounding out and blowin the bulb.

Kandace go out and run your fingers over the wiring as far as you can and make sure there is no cuts on the wire coating.
