Well guys, time to put up my white flag on the j-body. For some reason it started running bad and i have changed everything and cannot find the problem so i am selling the WHOLE car and see if i can get someone to buy it who can afford downtime because i cannot this being my daily driver.
Now the exterior is not pretty at all, i have gotten side swiped by a policeman on the front bumper and fender and hit by a drunk driver on the other passenger fender. So it will take some body work but there is no rust. So both fenders are dented, front bumper is scuffed up and some other body work needs done but i have owned it for 3 years or so and this is daily driven wear and tear from living in a small town.
I may part this out if i cannot get anyone to buy the whole car for a decent price to help me buy a j-body to just drive and not mod (yes im serious, i need a reliable car to drive not mod and drive)
Problems: For some reason i was driving normally and the car started to sputter, changed the IDI components and still nothing. The car now cranks over and idles fine then starts to stumple bad and you cannot drive this on the road until this is fixed because there is now a sudden tap which i think is either timing chain area or the lifters. Ever since i have put the new motor in on the header sides camshalf tower there is a slight leak where the gasket has pinched it looks causing a small 1" long leak area which has been going on for 25,000 miles and served me no major leakage, if your fixing the tap problem this is a easy fix while your in there.
