Out of curiosity, why? Didn't you just have them put on? I was looking at maybe getting this set-up in the spring.

I wanna sell these because I wanna go with Tein SS Coilovers now. I feel they would be better for what I plan on doing.
I'll have to check into some finances and get back to you. I just spent a big chunk on a house project 2 weeks ago, otherwise I'd say they're sold now.
Any pics of how low the car sits?
theres some shots of his drop

Alexis: Dustin, you're ghey, lol. I am better. I have tits, and tits rule all.
Thanks Jeff. i think its a 2.2" drop all around, I like the way it looks but the teins are probably more of what im looking for. Thanks to Jeffie's persuasion I wanna buy those now lol or else i would keep the dspecs and road mags
And the Rims are still for sale 800 for the Sacchi's and 300 for the Eagle Alloys
Thanks for the pics Jeffie!
I love how it looks, but I'm afraid of sitting that low. I've got to go over 2 speed bumps getting into work and I'm afraid I'm going to scrape there and going in and out of my sloped driveway. I'm not kitted and don't plan to in the future either, just not sure about this. I searched members on here with pics and didn't find this set up on any Sunfires to see how that would go.
Great price though, I'm going to have to take a look at the bumps at work tonight and maybe do a little measuring. It's not forgotten yet by any means.
you shouldnt have any problems with this drop and speed bumps unless there HUGE
he makes it in and out of my neighborhood easily and i have bumps and drainage dips and manhole bumps all over.

Yea I have the @!#$tiest streets around where i live. Just gotta navigate through them more cautiously for a while. I got used to it pretty quickly. Just let me know cause me and Jeffie can always use another excuse for a road trip lol

When the bumps at work went in people complained that they're too much like parking blocks. They're awful with nearly no curve to ease up and down them on either side. I do have the option to park in a far out lot instead of taking the bumps to get to convenient parking as a last resort. However, the driveway isn't going to change and I am not going ot park the Sunfire on the street. I could probably ease it in. Either way, I need to take a look at the bumps at work tonight & the husband is out of town. He'll be calling tonight & I'll share this with him to get his 2¢.
Excuse for a road trip huh... that means delivery? It's zip 17603, my estimate is about 3 hours. I could provide a lunch or whatnot, although I'm not a fancy cookin' kinda chick.
Measured the speed bumps, measured the car... The front is going to be really close. It looks like about 1/2 to 1/3 of an inch to clear the bumps if I sit a little over 2" lower. The other half said that if I can afford them to get them. I'd kick myself in the spring if I didn't pick up the deal now.
When are you looking to do this? I'm working a ton in November. If you want to come here, Nov. 24th is the only day that'll work well because of our work schedules. If you want to meet half way, maybe Allentown or Bethlehem area, I can roadtrip it (maybe drag Evans17 along again

) and do that Nov. 17th or Dec. 1st. Saturday is pretty much the only day because of being on third shift, it makes everything difficult.
BTW what all is involved in installing? I'm a near noob in suspension. When I first read up a few weeks ago, I got to thinking my brother could help a lot with his air tools - until my husband pointed out that a lowered car will never make it out of his driveway. Is it going to be a PITA with hand tools, or should I look for a way to get some air over here when I gather my installation helpers?
You dont NEED air toold but it would be a great help hell I could even throw them on your car real quick if need be the little battery impact gun is amazing lol

sockets and a spring compressor is all that is needed for suspensions. depending on what your doing it should take about 20-40 mins per corner.
What ever day is good for you and Jeffie, which pretty much means any weekend we can go. Ill head up there too and help put it on your car thats if my back can take it lol.. Just let me know how you wanna pay for the setup Ill even toss in a set of new gabriel front mounts for a extra $45 if you want.
As far as installation its pretty easy as Mike said sockets, a spring compressor, and pentrating oil. if me and jeffie put them on we have the battery impact gun which is a life saver lol
I'll talk to my bud up at base about the silver rims, he is looking for a set for his olds. how far are you from nyc? also if you talk to skwirl i may be interested in his tuning abilities 2 weeks foro now for my turbo set up.
Im really about 4 mins away from the Holland Tunnel and about 10 from the Lincoln right in downtown Jersey City. Let me know
Jeffie, Nov. 24th work for you? It's the Saturday after Thanksgiving if that matters.
Bubba - I probably should take those mounts. I've had both of mine repaced with OEM and they started squeeking again in just a few weeks. May as well while it's all apart. Cash work for you? Any tools and knowledge are much appreciated, especially since you've done this before & we haven't.
