Friday, August 24, 2007 3:19 AM
Anyone in the Pittsburgh area want to help me out with my motor swap on laborday weekend....I have a lot to do, that will be VERY hard to get done myself:

replace engine (2200)
flywheel, clutch
install LSD
run intercooler piping
setup msd, wideband, various other underhood goodies...
install fuel pump
and of course tuning.....

Looking for some experienced hands with this stuff. I can provide beer...stuff like that...

let me know, and thanks in advance

i didnt know moons car show was going on this weekend.....
anyways, I wont be getting into this until Friday evening, about 5 oclock ish. I would really like to get the motor out friday so saturday I can install the LSD, MSD, alum. rad, and re-install, then sunday get the fuel pump(s) installed and tune.

But Friday night would be fine with me. we can talk about tuning your car, I must say its hard to get a whole lot out of a N/A tune though, unless you are planning on forced induction in the future....

That would be awsome...

Feel free to come on by and lend a hand. I get off at 4 myself, then I have to go pick up some bolts and harware I had to order in.

Of course I am still missing 1 thing I need which is a weld flange for a 38mm wastegate.....if anyone has one, I can replace it next week, but it would be much appriciated.....

thanks again, and look forward to seeing you all this weekend...

Well it was going good, until I hit a big snag with my turbo manifold....

So right now, I have the engine and tranny still out until I can get the manifold straightened out, which is hopefully today....I'll be going strong all this weekend to get it done (as well as putting a new bed on my truck....)

should be MOSTLY done at least by the end of this weekend....

Thanks for checkin in.
