Does anyone have a front crush guard/absorber for an 00-02 cav for sale? Or even a 95-99 one... I need one badly lol
Also need 03-05 rear bumper brackets for the filler plates...

bubba are you having a hard time lining stuff up without this crush guard (i assume you mean the black honey comb rubber crap) with the type j front? I read somewhere you have to modify it to fit and that these guards are a bitch to put on, any helpful advice?
You can put the Type J front on without the bumper absorber I did it with 6, 6" T-brackets to support the bumper. However I noticed with that when driving on the highway, the type j bumper pushes down on the brackets causing the brackets to bend. Which isnt good if you do alot of highway driving like i do lol...
To put the crush guard back on Jeffie(Satchmoe) came up with bolts and washers if you still have rivits in the bar cut them with tin snips and drill the hole so you can fit the bolt on tightly. It should work in theory and be as strong as the rivits. Also the modifing on the front crush guard/absorber/honey comb crap, is easy use the tin snips to cut it, look at the Bubba comes to visit the Satchmobile in P&M, Jeffie has a pic of how he cut his guard in there and its basically the same prinicple of how you would cut yours for the type j.
My problem is I'm going back to "stock" and would like to have it back on lol. Going with a completely new look, which should in theory look good when all said and done lol.

Yea but most of the ones i called dont sell the peice out right... I just think theyre dumb and say they dont have it to piss me off lol.. Plus labor day weekend theyre all closed around me

e-bay bro, i got one for like 20 something shipped. I got a Z24 style which is foam and will support the front a lot better than the honey comb If you cut it right. I had an issue with my 99 style under the lights not wanting to fit right. Now i just shave it down to where it needs to be and call it a day.... woo hoo!
I've checked ebay and ive seen $60+ for them never seen one go for that cheap lol. Ill keep hunting

i talked to jeffie this weekend, i dunno if he talked to you about it but i did head to the junkyard this weekend and i couldnt find any 03+ js to look for the motor and trans for you. i know ill be able to get you a crush guard though. i have plans to head back this saturday to pick up some more stuff that i need.
