just checking to see if there is still people who are in the market for performance and suspension parts for the cavalier in this area? reason i ask upfront is that i am considering parting some of the cavalier out in the near future. if theres a LEGIT and HONEST market for it, then i'll do it.
however if theres gonna be the same "i want i want" and never buy, then i'll let it sit as is... no need to go through the troubles of uninstalling and reinstalling parts...
parts that will possibly be available are rear swaybar, tein ss setup (and it hasnt been abused as i dont drive around on slammed suspension), maybe front and rear strut braces, and the fully built race engine still sits...head and block with upgraded performance cam from Crane....most already know about the engine though.
like said, this isnt a for sale post, just seeing if its actually worth parting the car out.....
i'd be on the rear sway bar, and engine parts but not the whole engine.
really dont wanna take the engine apart. its never been run, never been finally assembled either, but all the parts are in either half, head and block... i'm to the point of make a DECENT offer as far as that goes.... worse comes to worse, i'll stick it on ebay.
ebay would probley sell the engine quick. i would make an offer but i want to build my own myself to learn..

still deciding if i wanna remove the rear sway....
stripped cav has the teins
removing the front and rear strut braces tonight as well.... those are still open to get...
also theres a sub box, a 12 pioneer, and a pioneer 760 watt amp that can go as well.... its a custom setup, not fully finished (no carpet, just mdf) but it fills the entire opening when you open the back seat, the amp rack is on the left, the sub is on the right.... and it clears the strut brace for the rears...

1) the baer brakes MAY come off.... gotta see if i feel up to it, or have the time to switch once again, and rebleed, etc......
2) the rear 25.4mm sway bar will come off.
3) the front and rear strut braces as a pair are already off.
4) Custom Sub Box, uncarpeted, 760 watt pioneer amp, and 12 inch woofer...as one giant thing.
5) XM radio reciever for pioneer radios and the antennae
6) dont know where the car is going, but wherever it goes, the brand new built performance engine will go with.
PLEASE, only serious thoughts and questions.
also does anyone in md, know of places that buy used autos for scrap parts? also have an 89 astro van in good running condition, was gonna use it as a trade in, but not really a popular pick... anyone know of any places that take those and chop shop em?
also forgot....
the Rksport 95-99 front bumper and 4 door side skirts..... might as well go...

the sub box is finally out the car....
the full engine is currently on ebay for under 1200 if anyone is interested...
