HolloweenxXx and I are trying to gather some interest and ideas for maybe setting up an all day type meet, somewhere that would be suitable for people to come from all different areas and a date good for everyone. We were thinking maybe meet at a park for a bbq or something, then maybe hit a track the same day.

If you have ANY ideas or if you may be interested feel free add. Any ideas help

To put it out there I was thinking:

Meet Spot: Recreational Park (food and so much more to do)
Track: Cecil/Capitol and my favorite Summit Point (Curves are fun but it's in WV)

i think capitol is good, but to far to travel for people from pa/de
cecil is probably the better central track for everyone. im going to search around for some parks, and let you know.

Yea. WY to far lol... I would come.. for my first time.. But my car looks like POS.. n dont want to get embarrassed lol.. I want to but dont want to take that risk lol

a big bbq or something sounds like a good idea. hopefully we can get a decent number of people to show up. let me know if you guys need any help with anything

Ohhhhhh, I may be starting a new job soon which Im required to work saturdays. I dont think Id be able to take off within the first month of working there, but Im not even 100% sure if Im getting the job or not.

And to anyone who thinks that their car isnt "worth" coming, who cares? Its not a car show and nobody is gona be judging how good or bad your car looks, just come out and have a good time and meet some new people.

sorry but thats funny. the weather channel is lucky to get the weather right in the week that they are in, let alone 2 months from now

for those who are concerned about location, how far are you willing to travel? do you have any suggestions on places to have the meet?

I know cecil would prolly be a better place for a track meet since more people would prolly be coming from more north, but they only have Test &tune on wed and friday nights then they do bracket racing and nhra stuff on weekends.

I think a meet at a park or something would be a good idea even if we couldnt get to a track. I dont know of many places, but there is a park right down the road from me that would be a great spot since they have a sheltered area with lots of picnic tables, a decent parking lot for pics,playgrounds in case you had/wanted to bring kids, and its right on the water so there could be fishing/swimming or whatever if you want. I dont think where Im at is too far south that PA/DE people wouldnt mind coming. Idk though, anybody else got any ideas for any places?

on saturdays cecil has the test n tunes. I am gonna keep an eye on this post and see what follows. Maybe i'll come out to it, i'm just afriad to go since the other ones i've went to have had 6 people show.



2009 Ford Mustang V6

Since I have had my cavalier i have yet to make it to a j-body gathering,so yeah i would be down for anything even if it is only a barbacue in some park, it would still be nice to get together with some other people for a change. I am down with it as long as it is within a 3 hour drive. hope this happens and has a good turnout

3. Locations have pretty much been narrowed down to 2. take a pick...

*IceMike89's Park, in Joppa, MD. I'll have to get the name to get in contact w/ them about prices. The advantages to this place would be the track is closer and mike and company know the area, great for pics and family fun...the disadvantages western md and some other would probably not want to make the trip

*Greenbrier State Park, in Boonsboro, MD. I have a general idea about their pricing and stuff. The advantages in the mountains, so you know there's bound to be some scenic shots there, great for family and fun...Disadvantages, more then likely delaware won't want to drive out there. Nobody knows the are (well maybe Kaitlyn J). and the track would pretty much be out of the plan.

- they both have swim areas but it's October, 'nuff said.

4. I can't garantee I'll be able to reserve a track for us if we do the whole track thing. It might be one of the those rn with the crowds type of thing.
