I need a custom downpipe made and i need some suggestions on where to go. (in the NH/Mass area, not tooo far from southern NH) I contacted CTI and they quoted me (for full 2.5") at 200, maybe more for just the downpipe, and with the flexpipe and cat, at around 4-500 total. Im not looking to spend quite this much. As i dont see 2-300$ being reasonable for a downpipe. Im waiting to get in touch with Freddy at SMG as he said he hook me up, im just not sure what he'll charge. Does anyone know of a good place that does custom mandrel bent exhausts? Also are any of you welders, or know anyone, that welds? I will also need a welder to help me out with a few lil things, as i dont have a welder nor the expierience. Any help is much appreciated, as i want to start tearing the cav apart this weekend or next.

Did you try calling Fred at SMG? i'm sure they can do something for you. I personally can't wait till the DP is ready for the SS/SC that they are prototyping on greg and keiths cobalts.
yea i talked with fred and he quoted me at about 200 for the DP (and this is without cat/flex - only the DP).. Lous quoted me at 100-150 for the DP alone, and CTI quoted me at 200-300 for just the DP. Looks like we'll be welding our own and hacking up the DP we got for the cobalt that we are not using. 3" DP with high flow cat w/ flex. Because i dont feel like spending 500$ for the DP to the Cat. and nothing after that. Im into saving money, lol.
