What's going on, and friend and I are going to NYC for the NY Auto Show. Since that'll occupy the majority of daytime hours, I don't know of any places to go at night. Thus the point of the post, are there any places you guys recommend in NYC for night life? Anything or anywhere is welcome, just throw it out there.

actually there are a lot of clubs around the Javits center. It all depends what you are into. Are you staying in manhattan?

Out of town visitor's seem to like WEBSTER HALL. That place has 4 levels 5 different dance floors.
Last weekend I was at STRATA, that's a lot smaller but still fun.

i go to nyc to party all the time.
pacha is the big dance club where all the techno dj's play.
the most popular strip joints is scores...east and west.
best bars (IMO) are in the village...off the wagon is my favorite. nearby the javits center where the auto show is, a few blocks north is "the scene" and "scruffy duffy's" which is some more descent bars.
