Anyone know of an IMAX playing 300 in or around MD??? Never been to one, figured this would be a good movie to see.

you guys should definitely go see this movie, it was off the heezzyyy....i couldn't imagine how awesome it'd be in the IMAX. the picture was already incredible in regular theatres.

Yeah, I saw it opening night and I'm going back again to see it tonight. I've never been to an IMax and everyone raves about them so I figured this would be a good one to catch. I think we're are gonna head to King of Prussia whenever it starts there, its 3 hrs away, but that movie alone is worth it.
I think I'm going to see it at KOP this weekend against my will

One friend told me it was the best he's seen since LOTR, but I hated LOTR. It's a long movie too, isn't it. Can't say I'm thrilled. Love iMax though, saw the new Posiden on it and it was amazing! You know a screen is great if they tell you how to handle sickness before the movie starts!
I Never bothered to go see LOTR, didnt interest me, neither did 300 from the previews. I hate going to the movies, pay $10 a person, $20 for a drink, then you always got the guy that talks and comments. I chose to wait a couple of months and rent the movie. Saw 300, loved it, I stood up and told the guy who talked to STFU, then took a sip of my $20 coke and proceeded to watch....going back tonight and plan on going to the IMax up there to see it this weekend or next.
Sounds like there's hope! Glad you said that, I'm not dreading it quite so much now!
By the way, if you do trek to KOP, there's a HUGE mall there where you can blow an entire day.
I'm headed there on Sunday, so Ill be sure to check it out.
