his name is conor stevens, has a brother named patrick and he works at circuit city in BEL AIR maryland.

i bought a venom intake manifold off him that he had up on ebay, i couldnt use ebay to buy it because he had it set up for paypal only so when i said i would send a money order, he ended the listing.

i sent him $315 for the intake manifold, that was 3.5 weeks ago. he never messaged me back through ebay, or anything and i still havnt gotten the part. i looked him and his brother up on the internet for phone numbers and got in touch with his brother who told me conor had sent it out a long time ago, and that it got sent back due to his dumb ass putting the wrong zip on the package, he then claimed it was re-sent out last tuesday, still nothing. so i called the brother back and he gave me conor's cell number, i call him and he assures me it was sent and that he would email me the tracking number... that was 2 days ago he never sent an email nor will he answer his phone anymore.

does anybody know this guy? maybe you could help me out with finding out the truth, and or "fixing" the problem.

exactly. i would like to just see it resolved, and finally get my part. but since i live like 15 states away from him, its nice to have another JBOer to go have a visit since i couldnt possibly do it myself.

right, he never said anything about people to go after him. he made a post asking if anyone knew him or how to get in touch with him.

if i were you, since you used paypal, just file a claim with paypal and get your money back.

thats the thing, i DIDNT use paypal, he had the listing up for "paypal" only, and u cant buy the item unless you do have paypal, ebay simply wont let you go any farther if you dont have paypal, since i dont have a paypal acct. i asked him if he would be willing to accept a money order insted and he said sure, no problem, i would just have to send it first. which was all fine n dandy for me since i use money orders all the time. so he then ended the listing and i sent him the money. i sent the envelope certified so he would have to sign for it as well, and he did. he then msg'd me back saying he got the money and that he would send the part out. well, the rest is history and i still have no part.

ok, guys i got it figured out and solved. i must have scared the crap out of him last night when i left him a "im gonna call the cops" msg on his voice mail because today he finally got back to me.

he sent me 2 pictures of the box he sent it in, along with the tracking number right to my phone.

so, good deal. thanks for everyones help!
