It has been a while since we have been to seaside. I know March does not exactly sound like the month to do this but that is when we are going to be trying it. Right now I am thinking we will be meeting up on March 17th. Meeting at the Mc Donald's on I beleive 33 is the main road in the Stop & Shop parking lot?
To put into perspective this day. Februrary's meet was 17F and the predited for March is 31F. The other advantage though is daylight savings time will affect us for this meet. We should have more sunlight and we could actually be meeting up at an hour that we can see the cars

.
Racing Options for March 17th:
Raceway Park: Street Muffled Vehicles Only. Open 9 AM. Time Trials + Trophy Marathon + Corvette Challenge + Pro 10.0. SCCA Autocross 9AM.
Atco Raceway: 9AM Junior Dragsters KCS Points Series 12PM Bracket Racing VP Points Series
I will be at Raceway Park in the morning for Trophy Marathon. It is a great way to get in 6 races garunteed and you are extremely likely to win a trophy. All you have to do is win one race. And even if you lose you are aloud to come back. It is a special kind of bracket racing. Great way to get seat time and learn how to bracket race as the computer does all the work for you.
I'll take it we have the same four people at least from last month

.
I have a few things to fix on the car, and im going to try and get off of work ... ive been wanting to show up to a J meet for awhile now.
But things keep happening.

Just to let everyone know ... those cheap blue bulbs AKA Luminics, nokya .. etc etc are not a very wise choice.
My headlight socket burned to a crisp and was smoking ridiculously.
Just thought ide let everyone know, stay away from those

.
Actually that wasn't the bulbs fault. You didn't do your homework. The current rating on those bulbs are much higher than the ones on your stock harness. You where supposed to wire in a new harness to support the heavier powered bulb.
Sorry you had to learn it the hard way.
^^festa right. you didnt talk about those in electronics?

Wrong. The bulbs that were in it, stock sylvania bulbs are 65/55 watt, and they never burned the harness. And i put the luminics in , and immediately started to fry the plastic socket. So i cut and soldered the 482 degree heavy duty sockets onto the harness, put the luminics back in, and soon as i flicked them on, it started burning the plastic. So i ran out to AutoZone, bought the 65/55 watt Sylvania Cool Blues, plugged them in and they didnt smoke, or burn. I haven't had a problem with these bulbs, and its been a week.
So yes, it was the bulbs fault.

It's not wattage that you have to worry about. It's amperage. I know it sounds strange but I had experienced the same issue and did not understand it until I took my electronics class. No worries though we all get burnt once in a while. However if even using a heavier gauge wire still burnt the new sockets it's possible that the bulbs where faulty. Call the bulb manufacturer, when I did they refunded me the bulb price and paid for a new lighting harness.
sorry pj, our econobox race is going to be on hold for a while but i still didnt forget and im looking towards it.

PJ, are you going to ATCO or Englishtown on the 17th. You posted 'yes' to both locations on the same day, one on this thread and one on the ATCO race day thread alittle further down. Just confused, unless you are going to both?

So apparently my car didn't like the curb today...and I ended up hitting it head-on. I have no idea if it will be ready for the 17th or not. Kinda stressed about it now. So guys, I might be at Englishtown or I might not be, I'll keep you guys posted.
