My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again

it cost way more than 350 to do the swap i can tell you that. maybe 350 if you know how to do it yourself. its not an easy plug and play task

I spent about 2500. I did buy alot of new parts (including the tranny). Not too easy but doable. I am a backyard mech so if I can do it by myself you should be able to. Shopping around for parts could save you a bundle of cash. Good luck.

yea but the only hard part about it would be the cutting of the firewall to add the other pedal

That's not that hard. Just a hole saw and two new bolt holes.

if you have a z24 dont even bother unless the tranny is shot, i never had any problems laying down 1/4 times similar to 5spds

for 2.2 and 2200 its a different story, they are slow as balls with the 3spd compared to the 5...@!#$, both of them are just slow

another thing you gotta figure is if you are going to swap it you might as well do clutch/flywheel at the same time and get the most out of the swap so cost is gonna get to be up there pretty good. You figure 300-500 for the tranny, linkage, pedals, ecu, and all that stuff then you gotta figure in a new clutch and flywheel and short shifter if youd like...you could be looking at 1000-1500 if you want to do it right. Or like mentioned above, 300-500 for the swap alone but the condition of the clutch/flywheel isnt guarenteed. You are going to need the flywheel no matter what because you will have to remove the automatic flywheel.

you shouldn't have to cut a hole in the fire wall for the tranny. most vehicle already ahve all the stuff there to do a swap. just have to buy the stuf needed and install it. Because a vehicle isn't deteremined to be auto or stick till after the body of the car is made so all that stuff for an auto is there and so isn't it for a manual. definately between $1000 to $2500 for doing it yourself. Maybe more or less depending on how you choose to go part wise.
