Hey guys. Basically I want to get the lambos off my cav. My problem is I am at school and my cav is back at home. So I am looking for anyone that wants to come out to Howard County, MD to help un-install them around thanksgiving. Lots of know-how is not needed I need an extra set of hands mainly.
They will also before sale, so i any wants to buy them, then we can make an afternoon of un-installing then re-installing on your car!
Either post here, e-mail me, or hit me up in AIM (MichaelsCarPAS)....
i dunno yet. Looking to be around $300-400
what brand? mms, lsd, vdi? if its closer to 300 i may be interested, i'm in york, pa so its not that far of a drive either
Hey Ferrari! I had to change my SF back to stock. I was able to undo my lambos by myself cuz there was just no time left before I had to go. I just went to Home Depot and bought some rope (it looked like it would be too thin, but it worked!) and tied the doors together...REAL TIGHT. Once I got the hinge off, yeah the door sagged a little bit, but not where it fell off or anything. I put the stock ones back on and low and behold, IT WORKED! So if you can't find anyone at all to help, it is possible to do by yourself (unless I just got EXTREMELY lucky...which I doubt it). Lata!

^Thats a great idea. I got a bunch of truck tie-downs in my jeep that would work good!
Liquid: my theory was more like $300 with un-install help. And more for just a normal sale..
just use bodyshop painters tape, tape the hell out of the door, to the roof, windshield etc...... thats what we did, door didnt budge, and had it done in no time!!
ferrari - i'd be willing to come help take em off if we can put them on my car at the same time, $300-$325 would be reasonable and i be able to drive down to you as long as it was a weekend, but i may need a few weeks, just let me know whats up then
Thats fine. I am at school and wont be home for a few weeks anyways.
