1999 Z24 for sale locally 89K miles on car

It just had a brand new GM crate motor installed last year in August. That crate motor now has 11K miles on it. The motor itself (not including labor) was $3400. I got hit in the rear a couple months ago and it cracked a taillight, put a little dent in the decklid, and put a hole in the bumper cover. There's no sheetmetal damage except the decklid. I got an estimate from a local shop (True2Form in Bath, PA) that it would cost $1500 to fix. I already replaced the broken light so I could get the car inspected. So the car is newly inspected, 11K miles on the engine, just had the regular maintainance done, and has great tires, new brakes up front, and a brand new custom cat back exhaust with a really nice sounding stainless steel muffler (not ricey at all). Kelley blue book on this car (not including the fact that the engine only has 11K) is $3225. The new engine makes it more than that, but I just want to get rid of the car so I don't have to keep paying reg and ins on it. I have two other cars and I need to get rid of at least one. I'm not getting rid of my '55 for sure, and my other car is an older Nova that I could use as a daily driver ( I can't bear to part with it either) So I'm asking $3200 OBO for the Z24, which I think is more than fair. I estimated the value based on the repairs needed, in fair shape.

As far as options, the car is fully loaded. Sunroof, power everything, I replaced the foglights with Pilot ultra white foglights that look ALOT better than the boxy stock ones. I put the stock wheels back on, but you have your choice of the stockers, or the 15"x7" Primax 8 spoke wheels I had on it.

Summary:

11K on engine
89K on rest of car
New cat back exhaust
New inspection
fairly new front brakes
3/4 tread on tires
Fully loaded
light rear damage (no fix needed except cosmetic)
$3200 OBO (no reasonable offer refused)

Please PM me with questions or offers.

I'll post pics later ( I think my wife is going into labor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) Maybe alot later!

If you want to see it in person, PM me to set up a time.

Yea, I got a chance to get some pics, including close ups of the rear so you can see the damaged area. It turned out that my wife was experiencing "false labor". I had no idea there was such a thing, hmmm. Enough talk, here's the pics.

Anyone? This car would be great for someone who wants to do a Cav with a body kit. Since it's the bumper that's got the brunt of the damage, putting a body kit on it would be a great fix. Or if you want to keep it stock, a junkyard bumper would do, especially if you can find one in red. The trunklid can be fixed, but it's probably just as cheap to get a lid from a junkyard too. If nobody respond to this F/S thread resulting in a sell, I'll probably end up replacing the bumper cover and decklid with same color ones, and putting the car on autotrader.com. I'll wait a week or so, so if you're interested, PM me ASAP. Thanks guys.

Is this car still for sale? Were the acessories replaced with the motor (alternator, power steering pump, water pump, ect)? Is the replacement crate engine a 95-99 LD9 or a 00-02 LD9?

No, just the motor (but a new water pump was included) it was a complete longblock. And the years replacement are '99-'02 LD9

But anyway, it doesn't really matter. I found a buyer today for the original asking price of $3200. I'll let you know if the deal falls through though. I got a call today right after accepting that offer and the guy offered to buy it out from under the other guy for $3500, but he wanted to make payments, and I'm not a bank, so I declined. But like I said, if everything falls through (not likely) I'll post back.

NO!!!!!! No more Cavs for me! I'm sick of driving around a poorly built POS that only gets worse the more you do to it. Besides, I'm pretty sure this sale is going through. I'll find out 100% on thursday.
